Up Your Fly Fishing Art with Monthly Prints from Eric Estrada

At Flylords, we are fortunate enough to be able to speak to the people who are the backbone of the fly fishing industry. From guides to artists and everyone in between, these conversations offer a glimpse into the fly fishing world beyond simply fishing. One of these figures we’ve collaborated with over the years is artist Eric Estrada. Eric is a South Florida native whose artistic style blends the fish and scenery we love with Miami’s graffiti-style culture. If you want to learn more about Estrada’s art, check out our Artist Spotlight.

His artwork is sought after by many, even appearing on limited edition fly reels and other gear. Most recently, Estrada announced his newest art project, a Print of the Month Club. This monthly print club offers a glimpse into Estrada’s creative project, with works straight from his black book. For those unfamiliar with graffiti culture, a black book is where ideas begin. It’s full of sketches and ideas that eventually make it to the wall.

New prints come directly from Estrada’s black book.

His newest collection is inspired by his own black book, with a new exclusive print created each month from it. Print Club members receive exclusive 11×17 signed prints each month, along with a story card explaining the inspiration behind each piece. Each new print will only be available for one month and is only available to members. In addition to the prints, one lucky subscriber will win an exclusive custom-painted Turtlebox Range once the club reaches 100 members.

If you’re a fan of Eric’s work and own one of his pieces, this print club offers a behind-the-scenes glimpse. The prints are part of Estrada’s creative process, capturing memories from the water that eventually become larger prints or murals.
