She Broke 100 Fly Fishing RECORDS Before She Turned 17 – Heather Harkavy: ‘The Drift’ Ep.2.

Welcome back to ‘The Drift’! In this episode, we go for a float down our local river with angler and educator Heather Harkavy. Born in Florida, Heather spent her youth chasing fly-fishing records, breaking over 100 of them before she even turned 17! Now, Heather runs a non-profit called “Fish For Change,” a youth-focused fishing program in Guanaja, Mexico, that gets kids of all ages on the water and teaches them about the mental health and community benefits of fly fishing. We’ve got one more seat in the boat… come along for a drift!

Thanks to Heather for taking the time to come fish with us! For more information about her and Fish For Change, check out their website here: https://www.fishforchange.org/
