Orvis Releases Limited-Edition Rosenbauer Collection Celebrating 50 Years

When you think of Orvis, one person comes to mind, Tom Rosenbauer. He’s one of the most influential individuals in fly fishing, and his work has helped and inspired countless anglers. From his how-to content to his fly tying and his podcast, Rosenbauer continues to use his passion for fly fishing to advance the sport. Even more impressive, he’s accomplished all this with one brand (Orvis) over the last 50 years.

To celebrate Tom Rosenbauer’s 50th Anniversary with Orvis, the two created a special-edition release that includes a Helios F rod, net, and fly box. Tom selected each item in the Tom Rosenbauer Collection, including the fine details to make each item unique and authentic to Rosenbauer. The Helios F Rod features Tom’s favorite cigar-style cork grip, a maple burl reel seat, an engraved wooden rod tube, and a canvas rod sack. The net also features one of Tom’s fly patterns cast into the handle, while the fly box features a personal message and signature engraved into the wood.
