Have you ever taken a fishing trip deep in the woods, only to come across an abundance of trash and waste littered throughout the streamside? Maybe you’ve witnessed habitats and ecosystems become deteriorated from the detrimental effects of unsustainable living. The Outdoor Professionals (O’Pros) crew has taken the initiative to tackle this pressing issue in a creative way. Creators of the original Third Hand Rod Holder, O’Pros added a new product to their arsenal as a way to give back to the environment, wildlife, and community.

Protect Our Planet Pledge Wristbands
A big part of O’Pros Fly Fishing long term plan is not only to give fisherpeople a better fishing experience, but we also want to make a difference in the world by giving back to the environment and wildlife. However, as a small company, we knew monetary contributions would not yet make the difference that we desire, nor send the full message that we would like.
When it comes to our environment, and wildlife we all must do our part. It is amazing that companies seek to donate money to help these causes, but everyone should be fighting together to keep our planet clean! The Protect Our Planet Wristbands are meant to be worn as a daily reminder to help our woods, water, and wildlife.
Customer Pledge
- Woods – Pack it in, Pack it out. Clean up after ourselves and others.
- Water – Recycle correctly and Reuse when possible. Prevent plastic from entering our waterways.
- Wildlife – Respectfully interact. Abide by hunting and fishing rules and regulations.
O’Pros Fly Fishing Pledge:
- With every purchase, O’Pros Fly Fishing will donate 5% to Backcountry Hunters & Anglers
- One percent of annual sales will go to 1% For The Planet
- Given the timing, until the end of April, the rest of the proceeds from these will go to the World Health Organization to help fight COVID-19.
These wristbands are only the beginning of O’Pros Fly Fishing’s contributions to better the environment and wildlife.
