Angler Story of the Week: Catching Yellowtail Kingfish

A Note from Gian Booysen (@kingstobefound):

“These are New Zealand’s yellowtail kingfish. We target them on flats looking for stingrays (which they share a special relationship with) or the wakes of the kings themselves. They love poppers and baitfish patterns but are very permitesque too. The educated tailing fish require a bit more finesse. The anglers in throughout the video are all clients/friends of mine except for one of the clips where my partner is casting. Just love being out there man.” Gian Booysen
