Umpqua Releases Link Pack, Accessories

Umpqua Feather Merchants have dropped a new line of packs and accessories built around magnetic technology that allows for easy swapping of different accessories. Link accessories can work with any pack, vest, webbing, or shirt tab, but they’re specifically designed to work best with Umpqua’s Swiftlink Packs.

The Link system uses a magnetic base station, and from there, different attachments are secured via directionally-released magnets. The attachments include:

  • Magnetic fly docks (in single or double sizes) that keep flies easily available without a velcro patch
  • Floatant holder
  • Large tool holder (for forceps)
  • A tippet holder
  • Magnetic full-size fly box

Umpqua’s Swiftlink packs have specific locations built into them that will accept the new Link accessories, but Umpqua also built these to work with other gear, as well. You can attach the magnetic bases to shirts, wader straps, or even other bags, if you don’t currently run Umpqua gear.

The line of packs includes a waist pack, sling pack, and two sizes of chest pack, so you can find a pack that works best for you and your style of fishing.

The packs and accessories are available now at your local Umpqua dealer.
