Trout Unlimited has partnered with Linehan Outfitters, Orvis, Hardy, Sage, Simms, and Fishpond to offer one of the more impressive sweepstakes in recent memories. As with anything TU pushes, the goal is conservation of coldwater fisheries across North America. There is no donation required to enter the sweepstakes, and a donation won’t increase your chances of winning. However, TU hopes the sheer number of prizes offered will encourage folks to add a donation when entering to win.
The prizes include the grand pick of a fully-guided trip to Montana with Linehan Outfitters for two, a five night/four day adventure that comes complete with two Orvis Helios rods, Mirage LT reels, Hip Packs, Mud Room Bags, along with a $750 travel allowance per person.
Seven winners will get a first prize package that includes a Hardy TU Perfect 4-weight reel, a Fishpond Cutbank Gear Bag, a Fishpond Sagebrush Pro Mesh Vest, and a reel case.
Eight second prize winners will get a Sage R8 Core 9′ 5-weight road and reel outfit, complete with a Simms 9′ 4-piece rod case.
22 winners will win a Scott Sector 9′ 8-weight, along with some Simms accessories.
A person can enter up to 20 tickets for the drawing, and can make any dollar contribution they wish. Entries must be made by July 15, and the drawing will be held on or around August 1. You can view all the details, and enter to win, here.
