In 2019, the American Museum of Fly Fishing contacted us to collaborate on a special project that would highlight their organization and introduce it to a younger audience. Lefty Kreh had passed away a few months prior to this conversation, and he was someone we wanted to focus on for the project. In our first conversation with Flip about the project, he talked about how fragile Time was, and we knew this would end up being a centerpiece to the project. When everything was organized, we put together an all-star crew and spent a few days in Flip’s backyard reminiscing about the old days, talking about the new days, and the future of fly fishing.
To date, this has been one of the most meaningful projects we have worked on, and with the recent news of Flip’s passing, a project we looked back on with teary eyes. Thank you for the memories, kind words, and endless wisdom, Flip. You inspired generations and will be missed dearly. Until we meet again, tight lines.
