Reel of the Week: The Fly Fishing Squirrel

A Note From Bob (@squirrelwarriors)

“Squirrel Warriors started with a question. If a squirrel could make all his gear and weapons from those things found in his natural habitat, what would that look like?
Well, it would look like traditionally tanned deerskin clothing, obsidian knives, little dogwood bows, porcupine quill arrows and fly rods with deer backstrap sinew for line.
The magic is in the movement. The biggest aspect in making a piece come alive, aside from the stone age accoutrements, is to pose the subject in a moment of tension. Capturing these moments creates narrative and it’s the story that captivates.” – Bob
