For the first time, Flylords is bringing a physical product to our audience in the form of three exclusive reel cases. These reel cases feature a durable synthetic leather outer, strong magnetic closures, and a soft protective interior. They’re also available in three sizes for trout, bass, and tarpon reels alike. But what truly sets these cases apart is the artwork adorning each one, created by some of fly fishing’s most talented artists: Eric Hinkley, Drew Wilson, and Eric Estrada.
Meet the Artists
Drew Wilson: Brown Trout Reel Case

Drew Wilson is based in Russellville, Arkansas, where he is a full-time artist and fisherman. Drew’s work blends exceptional detail work and vibrant colors with his sense of humor, creating what he calls “Silly Fish Art.” He’s an avid trout angler, traveling across the country in search of wild places and wild fish. He also just so happens to be within day-trip distance of the legendary White River—known for its trophy brown trout. In our mind, there was no one better to design the first-ever Flylords Brown Trout Reelcase.
Eric Hinkley: Bass Reel Case

As a Pennsylvania native, Eric Hinkley is no stranger to smallmouth bass. Born and raised in the Keystone State, he is in the epicenter of some of the best smallmouth bass fishing in the Northeast. His work reflects a life spent outdoors hunting and fishing, featuring the fish and game he knows well. Eric specializes in apparel graphics and screen prints, finding creative ways to bridge the intersection between art, print, and the landscapes that inspire him. When it came to finding an artist to design the smallmouth artwork, we knew Eric was the one.
Eric Estrada: Tarpon Reel Case

Eric Estrada is a South Florida native whose love for saltwater flats fishing is apparent in his artwork. From the backwater canals of Miami to the shallow water flats of the Florida Keys, Eric is constantly exploring in search of tarpon, bonefish, and permit. His artistic style draws inspiration from the graffiti-style art he grew up around in Miami, tying back to the fish he chases on the fly. The tarpon artwork found on the Tarpon Reelcase showcases his signature style with the Silver King going airborne.
