A Little Rain, a Lot of Big Brook’s: Fall in the High Alpine

A note from @jc_outdoors16

Timing is key when fishing high alpine lakes in the fall. This trip started off with sunny skies and schools of spooky fish. After some weather rolled through, we decided to go try our luck on a different lake.

With a slight temp drop and a little rain, these fish stayed on all day.

Hard to explain times like these on the water.
