Machined, hand-finished, anodized, and assembled in Montrose, Colorado, the Machinist Edition is finished in Native Metal, a clear anodized treatment that leaves the reel in its rawest form. Tool paths, machining marks, and visible details are revealed, offering anglers a rare glimpse into the reel’s journey from puck of aluminum to a finished reel that carries the Ross legacy. While it showcases a different aesthetic, the Machinist Edition is built to the same uncompromising standards of quality, durability, and performance that define every reel in the Ross Reels lineup.

This limited finish celebrates the process as much as the product.
Each Machinist Edition reel ships with a signed insert from the Ross Machinists themselves—a personal note from the hands that guided the aluminum from raw stock to finished reel.
