Drake Palometa comes from humble beginnings. He grew up in a tiny six-bedroom house on the coast of Connecticut, where he fought for scraps. His parents didn’t come from much, as high-level executives at Lockheed Martin. Despite this, Drake has established himself as a young entrepreneur in the fly fishing space, scaling a hobby into a full-on business.

Now, Drake Palometa has been fortunate enough to share his strategy with the public in his new podcast, Flynance Bros. His podcast, alongside cohost Joe Rowgan, offers insight into the fly fishing industry, realistic business opportunities, and his journey to financial stability.
We sat down with Drake to ask him why he chose to start his podcast, Flynance Bros, now. His answer was, “What better time to start a podcast exposing the industry’s secrets than April Fools’ Day.”
