Harry Spampinato is a freelance outdoor writer born and raised on Cape Cod, MA. Harry has been testing gear and contributing to a number of outdoor publications since 2017, but has always been most excited to create content surrounding the fly fishing space. Wielding a degree in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation from UMASS Amherst, Harry has been a nature nerd all his life with a crippling addiction to fishing. While his passion for DIY adventure angling has afflicted him with permit-fever and brought him to many exciting fisheries around the world, he remains a dedicated striped bass enthusiast and never misses a spring on the Cape.
